Was a good workmanlike player for Ferguson but since his extended illness I have not seen anything to show he is back to being a Premier League performer.
Which is why Man U are letting him go.
As said the sort of signing we used to try for but I would think would be more down Sunderlands street these days in the Man U retirement home.
How many Man U cast offs ..... O'Shea, Brown, Rio, Ji Sung Park, Rafael etc do you wish we had got?

Another Quinton Fortune, John O'Shea, Wes Brown and Luke Chadwick
Makes a name by being a squad player at man utd. Earns a fortune. Moves to a club where you would expect they would be a big star but really their years of being happy as a bit part player at a big club should illustrate their ambition. They fade into the background and become s squad player at a smaller club but still on their Man Utd wages.
Oh sorry, BFS wants to sign him. Errrr the new Paul Scholes?
